Fondly is a photo feed for iPhone and iPad, built and answered for by one person. Need help, or found something wrong? Shake the phone while Fondly is open and tap Send: the report carries your Fondly and iOS versions and a log of what the app was doing. Or write to support@scrollfondly.com and say what happened and what you expected.
Why can't I see all my photos?
If you allowed access to selected photos, Fondly can use only that selection. Open Fondly's Settings and choose more photos, or allow your whole library. If you denied access, the welcome screen's Open Settings takes you to the switch.
Why is Fondly still getting to know my library?
Fondly works through your library while you use it and while the phone charges. Settings shows its progress and whether photos are waiting in iCloud. A large library takes a while, and a warm phone slows the work down on purpose.
To let Fondly read photos stored only in iCloud, turn on Download from iCloud on Wi-Fi in Settings. It downloads a few at a time, on Wi-Fi, while Low Data Mode is off.
What do hearts, bookmarks, and hides do?
The heart tells Fondly what you love, and the feed learns from it. The bookmark saves a photo to Settings › Bookmarks. A photo's "…" menu hides it from the feed, and depending on the photo can hide a person, a place, an album, or a stretch of time; Settings › Hidden from the feed lists every hide, and a swipe unhides. None of this changes your Photos library, and anything hidden in the Photos app never appears in Fondly. Favorite, Add to album, and Delete from Library are the only actions that do, and each says so.
How do I name people, or fix a wrong face?
Tap a person's chip under a photo to open that person's photos; the chip at the top holds the name, and a tap on it gives or changes the name. Settings › People lists everyone Fondly has grouped, with Select to merge any number into one. When Fondly puts the wrong person under a photo, open the photo's "…" menu, find that person's entry, and choose "This isn't Maya" (with the person's own name, or "This is someone else" for a person with no name yet); the face leaves that person and is filed with whoever it matches. "Never show" keeps a person out of the feed for good.
Why is a Live Photo shared as a still?
Messages and the other messaging apps do not accept a Live Photo from a third-party app on iOS 27, so Fondly sends the photo itself, with the date line as the mail subject when you mail it.
