Why I made Fondly

I have about ten thousand photos of my two-year-old daughter, and I almost never saw them. My wife would scroll a feed at night instead and come away comparing: "Why isn't she eating properly? What am I doing wrong?"

So I built the feed I wished we had. It learns the way any feed does, but every photo is one you took, and it points the algorithm at your own life instead of a cherry-picked slice of somebody else's.

More of what you love

Every photo you heart teaches Fondly to show you more like it. Screenshots and receipts stay out of the feed.

Your favorite people and pets

Fondly recognizes familiar faces, pets included. Tap one to see just their photos.

Photos from every year

A Christmas from years ago turns up beside last weekend. Each photo tells you how many years ago it was.

Private, even from me

Ranking, face grouping, and learning all run on your phone, and the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

You choose what comes back

Hide a person, a place, or a stretch of time you'd rather not see, and Fondly keeps it out of your feed. Delete the face data whenever you like.
